(And you are more than worthy of them)
Somewhere along the way, maternity photos got the reputation of being only for a certain type of woman.
You know the images people often picture:
And so many moms quietly think:
“That’s beautiful… but that’s not me.”
I want to gently — and honestly — tell you something important.
Maternity photos are for real women.
For you. Exactly as you are.
Most of the women you see in maternity photos are not models.
They are:
What makes their photos beautiful isn’t their body.
It’s the combination of:
That’s where the magic really comes from.
Every pregnancy is different.
Some bumps sit high.
Some bumps are small.
Some are round and prominent.
Some come with stretch marks, swelling, or scars.
None of these things disqualify you from maternity photos.
In fact, they’re part of what makes your pregnancy uniquely yours.
And that’s exactly why this season deserves to be documented.

Most moms tell me some version of the same thing before their session:
“I’m awkward.”
“I don’t photograph well.”
“I don’t know how to pose.”
And that’s completely okay — because you’re not expected to know.
During every maternity session, I guide you through everything:
You’re never left guessing.
And you’re never expected to “figure it out” alone.
You don’t need to feel confident to book maternity photos.
Confidence is something that often shows up during the session — not before it.
When moms feel:
something begins to shift.
They stop worrying about how they look and start feeling proud of what their body is doing.
And that transformation is always one of my favorite things to witness.
Maternity photos aren’t about turning you into someone you’re not.
They’re about:
You don’t need to become a model.
You just need to be you.
My studio and sessions are designed to be a judgment-free, pressure-free space.
You are welcome here if:
There is no “right” way to show up.
There is only your story — and it deserves to be documented.
One day, you may look back and realize just how much your body carried.
Not just physically — but emotionally.
You deserve photos that reflect:
Not because you look like someone else.
But because you are you.
